Psychosocial Care

Psychological support

The diagnosis of the disease, the treatment period and reintegration give rise to experiences and emotions never felt before by the children or their families.

Our psychologists stand by them throughout the whole process, aiming to support them, smooth out relationships and behaviours, and help them come to terms with the daily challenges posed by the disease and treatment.

Intervention is fully individualised and adapted to the needs of each child and the demands of each family.

Group sessions are also available for the parents who wish to participate. The aim is to get them to share their thoughts, emotions and concerns, and help them through this process.

Social care

Our social workers provide advisory services to the families, relating to:

  • Institutional matters.
  • Rights and benefits of children during treatment and beyond.
  • Guidance in the relevant dealings with public services and organisations.
